    Studying Away From My Family

It’s hard, not because there’s no breakfast in bed, ready to wear school uniforms and free alarm(when my mother shouts during morning, I’m such a sleepyhead.) When I was in high school, I was very excited to get out of our province to study away from my family. Well, it changed now. Somehow, I feel like regretting residing here in Cebu to study. It’s hard because I miss my family so much. I mean I miss them terribly. My mother calls me every night it isn’t enough, I’ve been longing for her hug, her lunch box and most importantly, her care. My father, who used to kiss me on the cheeks every morning in order for me to wake up, I miss that :( My brother, though we always argue, he’s still nice to me. He never holds grudge. I’m doing my best in college right now, so that I could finish this four-years course fast. I need to sacrifice so that I could give them something, something they could be proud of.

So you guys, when you are with your family right now, I ENVY YOU, compared to me who only sees them once/twice a month, YOU GUYS ARE LUCKY.

As if school wasn't hard enough, we're expected to excel in life as well. In a world with more ups and downs than a roller-coaster ride, we need something that will help us stay focused.

Like it or not, the days of our lives aren't like a computer game. We don't always know the outcome, and sometimes there are glitches.
